When a Jerry House meme hybridizes with a George Kelley tendency...

Jerry's "Bad Joke Wednesday" can mate with George's cheesecake imagery to encourage consideration of one of the best (on both relevant counts) of Esquire's "A Funny Joke from a Beautiful Woman" video series: Lake Bell, and her joke...NSFW in many offices, at least.

    Well, Todd, I've got to hand it to you - a lesson in enjoying things for the wrong reasons - sheesh!! I was always sorry she was 'let go' from BOSTON LEGAL but I hear she's also a pretty impressive director?

    Oh, I'd say every reason one might enjoy this video is utterly intended. Her written/directed/starring IN A WORLD is a decent, pretty good film...though Alice, who saw it with me, has absolutely no memory of that. Bell has been working steadily on tv, as well, my favorite among her work there being CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.

    Gee, Todd, I've watched this video seven times already and haven't seen the joke, although I suspect Lake Bell talked during some of the video. I guess I'll have to watch it a few more times -- closely.
