I agree. I was called away by other business before I finished it, but I will. Does anything strike you as lacking (versus simply a different take on Brown and his work)?
The only thing lacking was a bibliography. I would have liked to see the sources. Perhaps Crime Reads doesn't run those. I thought the long discussion of Brown's parents and extended family was fascinating.
I highly recommend the Evans article on Fred Brown. It's a fascinating read!
