Gee, I wonder how many of those nominated are from Taiwan?

I suspect that even would-be attendees from Hong Kong might be having some difficulties, much less anyone from the "Renegade Province"...nor that the complement of Uyghurs from Xinjiang is particularly robust. And nominees...probably Not Healthy to bring it up while attending...
