Miriam Makeba's birthday

...as Google is kind enough to remind us, this is the anniversary of the late Makeba's birth...(1932-2008).

And she never went away, despite some of the insults delivered her by even "well-meaning" imbeciles (see the first post I put up)...but, then, withstanding exile and threat from Back Home makes the fools behind WHEN WE WERE KINGS or SOUND OPINIONS seem as trivial as they are.
