Is Lucy Roche as angry at her father as her half-sister, Martha?
I've only the most distant knowledge of those family dynamics, but perhaps it's notable that Lucy W. Roche is using that surname...while Martha is still using Wainwright as hers...clearly, though, LW3 has some patching up to do with his daughters.
It has to be an interesting story about the different families LW3 has been a part of.
Martha certainly does not limit her family related songs to her father.
I just ordered her most recent album for the library and she puts a lot of her current family (husband and son) issues into her work.
Hm. Well, it's a common feature of elder Wainwright's and the Roches' songs (even more than most songwriters'), too. Don't know the McGarrigles' work as well...something I should rectify...
