I have a late entry today:

http://trackofthecat.blogspot.com/2013/04/new-books-on-searchers-and-davy-crockett.html

New looks at THE SEARCHERS and DAVY CROCKETT.

And this one too now:

http://trackofthecat.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-dudes-detective-novel-now-movie.html

The mildly anti-establishmentarian movie, INHERENT VICE, based upon the spacey detective novel by Thomas Pyncheon. The music is bound to be good.

Thanks for including me Todd - I'm afraid I'm going to be out of action for the next month or so as I move house not once but twice - thanks very much for all the support.

Thanks, Richard (though we try to keep matters a/v on Tuesdays), and you, too, Sergio...and good luck in your peregrinations and reroosting!
